I would blame my recent lobotomy for the fact that I locked myself out of my home...again. But the last time I locked myself out, I hadn't had the lobotomy yet. So I guess there's really no good excuse for this one!! But instead of focusing on how annoyed I am right now (because my keys are still in my house...I may need to borrow a ladder), I'm going to concentrate on some good stuff.
I lose wallets and keys all the time. I think I was born lobotomised.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with Nano!
NaNo is in a week! A week, Trisha! I need to buckle down. But first, I have some changes to make to my blog and a short story to start!
ReplyDelete@Damyanti - it's very irritating! I am not usually like this. But sometimes I have bad runs. Like there was a week years ago when I flattened my car's battery on two separate occasions by leaving the lights on.
ReplyDelete@Brooke - buckling down is certainly the name of the game! good luck with getting all your last-minute stuff done! and yeah, I haven't started this week's story either. If that's the one you meant anyway...!
Girl, that's my kinda crazy. Here's to your brain getting on the mend! *cheers!*
ReplyDeleteI do stuff like that all the time, and I haven't had a lobotomy either. I blame two small children for my brain farts. I hope you are healing well!
ReplyDeleteJust blame it on the lobotomy. Why not? The other time can be blamed on... a freak occurrence. I definitely think your surgery gives just cause in this case though. How did you get in the last time??? Come on Ninja girl, climb that trellis (or whatever)!
ReplyDelete@Ali - thank you!! hehe. I am going to have some wine tonight, FO SHO.
ReplyDelete@Julie - I think your excuse is WAAAAY better than mine!
@Danette - I like your thinking! and I did consider re-enacting my previous ninja escapades, however I thought my forehead wouldn't be a fan of it. Anyway, have an awesome cleaner who is going to stop by & let me in (she has a spare key. lol)
You know what's awesome is, even when you got locked out again, you sat down and blogged about it. That is dedication to the high art of blogging, that is. :P
ReplyDeleteYou are not alone - and some of us have no one to blame... would I did. ;)
ReplyDeleteI had to call AAA three times within a week when I got my new car. One of those times it was running and in the street - I got out of the car to help a kid with a bothersome dog and locked myself out.
When I was in high school, I was ALWAYS locking my keys in my car. It sucked.
ReplyDeleteA LOT.
Congrats on the happy :D
hehe I've locked myself out only once. I don't even know how I managed it because I need the keys to leave. Oh wait, I remember now, my friends took my keys off me and forgot to give them back. lol.
ReplyDeleteI'm feeling that same kind of crazy. Forgot my purse today. Got 20 minutes out before I realized and had to turn around and come home for it. Argh! Nothing like adding a little stress to an already hectic day.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the progress with the revision thingy!
I'm always forgetting or losing something or other. You are NOT alone! Although that may not help much ... :)
ReplyDeletelol--Sucks you got locked out, but yippee about revisions! And of course, NANO :)
