A to Z ~ In Cold Blood

This year my A to Z theme harks back to 2012's theme, in which I listed an A-to-Z of books from my GoodReads "TBR" shelf. This year I want to revisit that list and report on which ones I've read, and what rating I gave them. Where the book hasn't been read, I'll mention other books starting with that letter I have read since 2012. ;)

"I" ... IN COLD BLOOD
Status: Not Read

"I" books I have read:

If I Let You Go - Kyra Lennon. 4 stars.
Imaginary Girls - Nova Ren Suma. 4 stars.
Insurgent (Divergent, #2) - Veronica Roth. 4 stars.

Some other "I" books on my TBR:

I Am Pilgrim - Terry Hayes.
Ill-Made Mute, the - Cecilia Dart-Thornton.
Invisible Man, the - H.G. Wells.
It - Stephen King.

Have you guys noticed I'm not having a very good run? That is, it's been a while since I featured a book in my main list I actually have read. But rest assured there are more books to follow that I have indeed read. :) Just wanted to assure you there WILL be more mini-reviews!

  4. It takes a long time to get to books on our TBR list, especially with more and more books coming out daily. I read what I'm in the mood for, which lately has meant a lot of YA, so all of the other books on my TBR list have been waiting for this kick to end. haha

    1. I tend to mix it up a lot - I am currently reading the book I featured for the letter "A", as I hadn't yet read it. I have looked at it so many times thinking "I should totally read that now..." but I never have. But now that I am, I'm really enjoying it. It's definitely not the sort of story that calls to me at the moment, though - in that regard I'm probably more on a YA kick like you are. Though this book is narrated by a 10-year-old, so I guess it's not far off in that regard. :D

  14. In Cold Blood is chilling. I read it years ago. Capote became so obsessed by the story he lived and breathed it for years. It was the last book he ever wrote and broke ground for a new genre of non-fiction true-crime written very like a novel.
