This year my A to Z theme harks back to 2012's theme, in which I listed an A-to-Z of books from my GoodReads "TBR" shelf. This year I want to revisit that list and report on which ones I've read, and what rating I gave them. Where the book hasn't been read, I'll mention other books starting with that letter I have read since 2012. ;)

I haven't read any of these! I know I'm one of the only people left who hasn't read Divergent.
ReplyDeleteSetting yourself a reading goal is always very satisfactory - especially if the books turn out to be good. Your "Death on the Nile," of course, drew my attention since the Nile plays a huge role in my own novels. Perhaps, one day, you'll pick one up....that would be grand.

Not read any of them. I haven't even read Twilight yet, so way behind on popular books. Friend's books go first in the que...and boy do I have a line up!
ReplyDeleteHi Trisha - yes I have read Death of the Nile .. and I loved it years and years and saw the film in 1978 .. and I'm sure it's been serialised too more recently .. it's a classic. Now I haven't read the others either .. I'll have to come back at the end of the Challenge and make notes on your recommendations .. cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteJulie's not the only one has hasn't read Divergent. I haven't either. I normally don't read books that become super popular. I tried to read Twilight, but quit after the first page. Literally. I tried to read Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Same story there. I haven't even read The Hunger Games, though I haven't tried. For some reason I just don't like reading these books that explode into movies. Hmm...

ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of those books either, but I'd like to read Death on the Nile one day. I've heard a lot about Divergent too. But they will have to join the lineup of the TBR. . .

ReplyDeleteGoodreads is wonderful for keeping track of books that I've read or have on TBR. Can't tell you how many times I check out (or go to buy) a book, only to realize I've already read it. :)
ReplyDeleteWell, a few times I've bought a book more than once - I think I might've even bought one book 3 times. That was embarrassing. But I am more careful now that my budget is super tight. :P
