A to Z ~ Haunting of Alaizabel Cray, the

This year my A to Z theme harks back to 2012's theme, in which I listed an A-to-Z of books from my GoodReads "TBR" shelf. This year I want to revisit that list and report on which ones I've read, and what rating I gave them. Where the book hasn't been read, I'll mention other books starting with that letter I have read since 2012. ;)

"H" ... THE HAUNTING OF ALAIZABEL CRAY
Status: Not Read

"H" books I have read:

Hard to Handle (Love in the Balance #2) - Jessica Lemmon. 4 stars.
Healing Summer - Elizabeth Seckman. 4 stars.
Hooked (Hooked, #1) - Liz Fichera. 4 stars.
Host, the (The Host, #1) - Stephenie Meyer. 4 stars.
How To Rock Braces and Glasses - Meg Haston. 3 stars.

  1. I have not read any books in H. I've heard about The Host and I have it on my reading list.

    1. I have read HP of course, but only had so much space to put a few of the "H" books read in there. I try to avoid putting series in otherwise they'd take up all the space and more. But I agree, I love them as well. :)

  4. LOL Elizabeth's comment cracked me up.

I haven't read Alaizabel Cray but anything with Haunting in the title immediately has my interest.

  6. Hmm. I haven't heard of this book but now I must go look it up. I love a good haunting/ghost story. Have you read The Haunting of Hill House? Classic!

    1. I really liked it. It's weird - and one of my CPs implied that in her opinion, Meyer must have smoked some serious drugs before writing it :P - but I really liked it. There were aspects I wasn't thrilled with, which I think I mentioned in my GR review, but mostly it was good. :D

  11. I need to read more books! I should stop doing everything else and just read. ;) The only one on your list that I've read is The Host. I remember that the beginning was hard to get through, but once I got past the first 25 pages or so, I really enjoyed the story concept.

  14. I've read The Host, but that's the only one on the H list. I really liked it. I think after Elizabeth's comment I'll have to read Healing Summer. Sounds like a winner! :)
