This year my A to Z theme harks back to 2012's theme, in which I listed an A-to-Z of books from my GoodReads "TBR" shelf. This year I want to revisit that list and report on which ones I've read, and what rating I gave them. Where the book hasn't been read, I'll mention other books starting with that letter I have read since 2012. ;)

Have you guys noticed I'm not having a very good run? That is, it's been a while since I featured a book in my main list I actually have read. But rest assured there are more books to follow that I have indeed read. :) Just wanted to assure you there WILL be more mini-reviews!
Hi Trisha .. well I almost think I haven't read anything .. and certainly can't remember many .. but I "do" reference guides .. Once the A-Z is over -- reading will be on my list .. and there's lots of good bloggers' books to tuck into .. they're a-waiting me ..
ReplyDeleteand your lists too .. Cheers Hilary
Someone else posted about that book today! Said it was unsettling.
ReplyDeleteI've never read this book but I feel sure it would scare the heck out of me. So disturbing.
ReplyDeleteIt takes a long time to get to books on our TBR list, especially with more and more books coming out daily. I read what I'm in the mood for, which lately has meant a lot of YA, so all of the other books on my TBR list have been waiting for this kick to end. haha
ReplyDeleteI tend to mix it up a lot - I am currently reading the book I featured for the letter "A", as I hadn't yet read it. I have looked at it so many times thinking "I should totally read that now..." but I never have. But now that I am, I'm really enjoying it. It's definitely not the sort of story that calls to me at the moment, though - in that regard I'm probably more on a YA kick like you are. Though this book is narrated by a 10-year-old, so I guess it's not far off in that regard. :D
DeleteI heart you! You are doing a stellar job of plugging my books through this challenge - your cheque is in the post! ;)
ReplyDeleteLOL, I'm happy to do it. I think your stories rock!
DeleteI read If I Let You Go!!! (I feel smart if there is at least one book I've read on each list ;)
ReplyDeleteWell done, Elizabeth! hehe
DeleteI need to read more "I" books. Maybe I, Robot to start. :)
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to read In Cold Blood too!
ReplyDeleteKyra's book is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteIn Cold Blood is chilling. I'm looking forward to reading Insurgent though. Read Divergent a few weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteI love anything by Stephen King. He is a superb writer! ♥
ReplyDeleteI read an extract of Invisible Man but that was by Ralph Ellison I need to check out the one you mentioned by H.G.,Wells.
ReplyDeleteIn Cold Blood - the title says it all! It sounds like a cold & bloody thriller...
ReplyDeleteWriter In Transit
I have only read the only by Stephan King..Phew
ReplyDeleteIn Cold Blood is chilling. I read it years ago. Capote became so obsessed by the story he lived and breathed it for years. It was the last book he ever wrote and broke ground for a new genre of non-fiction true-crime written very like a novel.
ReplyDeleteStopping by from the #atozchallenge !

Insurgent-- Half way through reading right now!
It- Read a few years ago.
Another "I' book I've read:
"I'm a stranger here myself" - Bill Bryson
So many books, so little time. I'm reading more than ever as I'm on hols. I read at night till my eyes can no longer stay open. Invisible Man is a good one. Haven't read In Cold Blood.
