A to Z 2015 - "D" Photos

Day 4 of the A-to-Z 2015 is here (nearly over, actually, for us in Western Australia anyway!), so I'm here to post for the letter "D".

My theme this year is photography, and my letter D post is focusing on "droplets" - that is, rain droplets. I'm pretty obsessed with raindrops, as this selection of photos might suggest:

  5. Water is very interesting to photograph, I get mesmerized by reflections. Raindrops are another facet of water and a great choice for showing suspension, cohesion and splashes! I like the fourth one as well, since it has reflection and raindrops. . .

  10. Very cool photos. I really like the last one for some reason, though they are all nice. I see some droplets on your blog design, too :)

  11. I love your photos. I'm new to playing with photography. Maybe I'll try to build enough that I could do a similar style next year.

  12. You're so cute! What do you think of droplets on flowerpetals? What about the way the light is refracted as the sun shines through them? Do you ever get close enough to see the upside down world in them? <3

  13. Thanks for the comments, everyone! :)

Elizabeth, I actually do have one photo of droplets (from that session the top photo was from) where you can see what is basically a perfect reflection of the palm tree in one of the bigger droplets. :)
