2 kittens down, 2 to go ;)

♥Champagne♥

Back on May 15th I posted about one of my foster kittens being rehomed.
At the time it was 1 down and 3 to go.
Now I've rehomed two, and have two to go!

I'm pleased to say that Batman's sister, the super-awesome Champers,
has now been rehomed as well. :) A lovely young guy secretly
arranged to adopt Champers for his girlfriend's birthday
(she had spotted Champers and said "I want that one!",
so no fear that he was making a mistake).
Apparently the girlfriend shed happy tears
when she and the kitty met for the first time. ;)

One of the admin ladies from the rescue I work with
made this picture up for Champers:

Anyway, I have to say that my house is very quiet without Champers,
and I miss her extreme wackiness. But it's good to get the
boisterous kitties rehomed, so I can concentrate on
socialising my remaining scaredy fosters.

    1. Thanks, Hilary - it's great news, though I really do miss her! She was a one of a kind sort of feline. ;)

      Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Glad she found a good home. That would still be so hard to do. I like animals too much - I'd want to keep them all.

    1. Yeah, it's definitely hard to say goodbye - but I always remind myself that I am making room for the next cute little kitty that comes along. ;)

It also helps immensely if I hear feedback from the new family telling me the kitty is doing well in their new home. It's definitely more difficult not knowing!

  3. It's always hard to say goodbye to a pet, I miss my old landlady's cat so bad. But it sounds like she's going to a good home and I'm sure she'll be loved.

    1. Yep, she is a lucky kitty, methinks. Now I need to find good homes for my remaining 2 boys. :)

  5. I'd probably keep them all. I get way too attached to kitties.

    1. Yeah, it's hard to say goodbye. but because I know my financial limits, I have managed to do it so far - I have 2 of my own cats, and they cost me enough money at the vet as it is. ;)

  6. You're doing a wonderful job, Trisha!
    Congrats!
Plus you have to be strong when it's time to let them go...

    1. Thanks, Michelle. :) And yes, you do - but it's easier knowing they're going to a loving home, and also that you're opening your space at home to future kitties in need!

    1. Hmm, very strange about the FB message. Usually they go to the "Other" folder if you don't have things set up so that anyone can message you. I will try messaging you again & see if that goes through.

  8. Aww, Champers is such a little cutie. Hope the other fosters are less scared by now and on their way to their own forever homes. <3
