In the words of David Powers King, this is what's involved with the "Wrap it Up" blogfest:
Write a piece of flash fiction, poem, or song (300 words or less) for someone you know (real or imaginary). It may be in any genre, but it must have a holiday theme (real or fictional). Post it on your blog anytime between now and when the linky closes. You will then give it to that someone, sometime before the new year.
Give it in the form of an email, on fancy stationary, or laser-etched onto a solid gold plate. Your choice.
Telling us who you're giving it to is optional.
My entry is as follows:
P.S. Forgot to paste the linky code, but here it is:
Nice job. A unique song with a rather strange and mesmerizing video.

Trisha this is so beautiful. Amazing!
ReplyDeleteOur first video entry! Wahoo!
ReplyDeleteHi Trisha, thanks for stopping by my blog today! It's fun to meet new people!
ReplyDeleteYou wrote a song? Geesh. You remind me of my freakishly talented sister. And that's a compliment.
ReplyDeleteWhy are gnomes so cute? I watched Gnomeo and Juliet just because I like gnomes. They're adorable.
The video was enigmatic, and the song showed cool creativity.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had time to leap into this blogfest/hop, but I am hanging on by my fingernails (what is left of them). Thanks for stopping by my blog! Your words of encouragement were appreciated.
I haven't seen Gnomeo and Juliet, E., but it sounds like my cup of tea (in an 'oh my god' way). This place in Gnomesville, Western Australia is pretty hilarious. That's where all these photos were taken.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments everyone :)
Awe.Some! I loved the song, the emotion, the gnomes. Everything!!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know there was actually a Gnomesville there! Pretty cool. I loved your song. Did you do the backup vocals, too?

How creative was that? SUPER CREATIVE!!! Loved it.
ReplyDeleteTrish, this is amazing. I'm just sitting here in awe! You can write, you can sing, you can make awesome videos. WOW! This is truly fun. Great job and thanks so much for participating!
ReplyDeleteFantastic song. I love the intriguing video that went with it.
ReplyDeleteGnomes! Wow, you put so much work into this! What a great idea for a blogfest.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone :) I had fun, and wasn't sure what to do for the vid, but then I remembered the gnomes. They just seemed to fit. haha
ReplyDeleteThat was original and I love original! Great entry and thanks for stopping by my blog! :)
ReplyDeleteSo clever and original! Fantastic :)
ReplyDeleteGreat song and video. My only problem - I had to keep the volume in check. I'm checking out all these entries during nap time.
ReplyDeleteGarden gnomes! When I was little, we used to paint garden gnomes, and I remember going into the pottery store at Christmas time to get things to paint for Christmas presents! Thanks for stirring up those memories. I loved the idea of this, it is so creative!
