(Not so) tiny little interlude

It's been a full-on week or two with blogfests (or hops) happening left, right and centre (ahhh, gotta love a good cliché). In February so far I've participated in:

All of these had considerable levels of participation, and I'm still working to visit all the blogs of participants! I think I did get around to all the Critique people, but for all the other blogfests I have yet to visit every blog! I'm still working on it though, as you may be noticing.

There's more to come in February, though, with the Evil Genius Blogfest hosted by the Golden Eagle on February 27th. I also have some other things to get done during February, including a book review and another travel entry for my Globetrotter series. But for now, I'm going to anticipate the coming weekend in which I will...catch up on all the weekly goals I have yet to achieve! (there are a few)

What have you been up to this February?

  4. Blogfests are a lot of fun, but they are also a lot of work!

My February has been a chaotic mess of blogfests, WIP, and editing something I wrote a long time ago in order to make it publishable! Busy times. :D

    1. Busy, but oh so invigorating! I'm editing too, and also writing new stuff...and obviously blogfests are a thing I'm doing too!

  5. Western Australia, huh? That must explain it. I believe you have more hours in a day there, don't you? Wow, that's a lot of blog hopping. Good for you. Wears me out just thinking about it. On second thought, my days may not be shorter than yours ... but at my age, time definitely moves faster. Yeah, that's it.

  6. I love the new blog background :D
Oh by the way, are you sure you have 24h days? because you know... you do so much... sooooo much. I'm amazed :D
February was mostly surviving (personal life related). Need to do some reading and critiquing before the month is over and that's it.

  7. February has been filled with going to the gym (2 a day) and working on my novel. We have Monday off and I might actually be where I want to be by the end of Feb.

    1. Yeah, the Origins stuff especially is easy to get stuck in, particularly when people have written a fair bit. ;)

  11. I hear ya - there have been some super fun blogfests in February. I'm having fun with them, but I've had to skip a few because I'm trying to finish my 1st draft in time to meet my goal. It's crazy, but I love it! Good luck on catching up. I'm sure it will be no problem.

    1. Good luck with your first draft!! I'm working on one of those myself. Should only have a few k to go before I'm done. Then I move onto my other unfinished draft from last year's NaNo :)

  12. Oh for crying out loud. How do you do all this? Seriously, every time I stop by you're being about 10 times more productive than I am. Even when you seem like your sorta apologizing for not getting everything done, I'm thinking, holy cow, your doing so much stuff.

I have visited about 1/10th of the entries from the Origins blogfest and I'm beside myself with frustration. You are like a superhero.

  13. Thanks everyone for your comments - I'm glad you're not the only ones feeling overwhelmed sometimes! But in the end it's totally worth it ;)
